The Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos clash in an anticipated NFL matchup. This game features exciting offensive players like Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase facing a strong Broncos defense bolstered by the return of cornerback Riley Moss.
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase celebrated a first down during the second half of an NFL football game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Cincinnati, Sunday, Nov. 26, 2023. The Bengals and Broncos last met on Dec. 19, 2021, with the Bengals beating the Broncos 15-10 in Denver. Cornerback Riley Moss is returning to the Broncos defense after missing a month due to a sprained MCL. Moss had 71 tackles, eight pass breakups, and an interception last season.
His return could help the Broncos return to their preferred man coverage scheme. Joe Burrow is having a strong season, throwing for 252 yards and three touchdowns last week against the Browns. He's among the NFL leaders in most passing categories. Burrow has thrown at least three touchdown passes in each of his past seven games. Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins combined for 14 receptions for 155 yards and two touchdowns against the Browns last Sunday. Chase leads the NFL in receptions, yards, and touchdowns after Week 16. The Broncos' passing defense is ranked eighth in the NFL, and Patrick Surtain has allowed the fewest receiving yards by a cornerback in a season through 16 games since at least 2018. The Broncos are relatively healthy heading into the game, with only running back Jaleel McLaughlin (thigh) being limited in practice. The Bengals have several players questionable or doubtful for Saturday's game, including defensive end Sam Hubbard (knee), defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins (illness), wide receiver Tee Higgins (ankle/knee), defensive tackle Amarius Mims (ankle), and safety Geno Stone (illness). Tight end Tanner Hudson (knee) is doubtful. The teams have traded wins in their past four meetings since 2016
