Ben Doak says he’ll get stressed out if he starts to think about gate-crashing Scotland’s Euro 2024 squad.
After discovering the Scotland manager was at Motherwell to watch him, Doak said: “I wasn’t aware of that until after the match. It’s really motivating. I’m happy that I played well and got my goal. “But I’m not worried about it . I have so much time to get better I’ll get picked for the team whenever they think I’m ready.
Doak said: “I look at what’s ahead of me at Liverpool and know why I’m not playing. It’s because one of the best players in the Premier League is in front of me. So I have no reason to complain. I’m just trying to learn from him.
