Below Deck Med's Captain Sandy exclusively told Us Weekly about the 'generous gift' she received from Andy Cohen after exchanging vows with Leah Shafer
Andy Cohen couldn't attend Below Deck Mediterranean star Captain Sandy Yawn's wedding to Leah Shafer — but he sent a memorable present.
Sandy has been a Below Deck staple since she joined the Mediterranean iteration in 2017. The first female captain in the franchise also made history when she briefly crossed over to the OG series, stepping in for Captain Lee Rosbach, in 2023. ' Nadine there and Josh Brown and just people that have been in my life from NBC. We really wanted people there Kate Chastain we're not in each other's lives on a daily basis. And then Aesha Scott, of course,' she said of two of the franchise's most popular chief stews.
She continued, “We’re just to find this kind of love at this stage in our lives and to have the acceptance by our family and friends. It really is a beautiful love story and celebration, and that's the truth.”
