'Below Deck' star Captain Kerry Titheradge has split from girlfriend Gönül Bihan after six years together, Us Weekly exclusively confirms
A source exclusively confirmed to Us Weekly that the Below Deck star broke up with his girlfriend, Gönül Bihan, after six years of dating. “Captain Kerry is back on the market,” the insider shared with Us.
“He ended it right before the new year and she moved out of their shared Florida house recently.” According to the source, they were no longer on the same page about the relationship and where it was going. Although Kerry tries to steer his private life away from the spotlight, a June 2025 episode of Below Deck offered a rare glimpse into the captain’s personal life. “She worked for me when I was married,” he revealed when recalling how he met Gönül. “A few years later, I said, ‘How about we go out for dinner?'” Before finding love with Gönül, Kerry was married to a woman named Jennifer. They share a son and a daughter together. 'I was married, and then that ended. It wasn't good,' he said on season 11 of Below Deck when reflecting on his past divorce. 'I was running a 300-foot yacht. Gave it all up for my kids.” Kerry continued, “I went from being a captain of a multi-million dollar yacht to painting houses. I went and did a job that I could focus on myself — put my earbuds in, listen to self-help work. I was there for my kids every day and I could get myself better.” During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in February 2024, Kerry had Gönül in the audience to support his appearance. At one point in the episode, host Andy Cohen asked Kerry if any Real Housewives cast members caught his eye during BravoCon 2023. He responded, “Being my love of my life is in the audience, it's very hard to answer that question.” In September 2025, the Bravo star tried his best not to reveal too many details about his second chance at love with Gönül.“I do have someone in my life, and I'm grateful for it,' he shared with Bravo’s The Daily Dish at the time. 'After everything I've been through, I don't take love or connection for granted.' Kerry added, “I think her hearing's getting worse and her eyesight's getting bad. Because she still thinks I'm beautiful, and she wants to be with .' Relationships aside, Kerry is grateful for where he is in his life at the start of 2026. In a reflective social media post, the Below Deck star admitted that he has seen things “start to align.” “There’s a new level of focus, clarity, and momentum building, and I know things are about to start picking up in a big way,” he wrote via Instagram on Friday, January 9. “This year is going to look different new projects, new experiences, new growth and you’re going to see a lot more sides of me along the way. Appreciate everyone who’s been part of the journey so far. The best is still ahead.”
