A dedicated Perth barrister was allegedly murdered by a man she had begun dating after they met through her work, it is understood. Alice McShera, 34, was found with serious head injuries inside her room at Crown Towers in Burswood on Monday morning.
Alice McShera reportedly met alleged killer when he was her client. Cameron John Pearson, 42, was charged over her death. The Bibra Lake man was allegedly found in the room with McShera. Police said he had self-inflicted injuries. He made a brief appearance in Perth Magistrates Court on Tuesday. The pair reportedly became romantically involved in January, after Pearson was helped as a legal client by McShera. McShera was a barrister at Perth law firm Murray Chambers.
