The 22-year-old shared a trio of selfies to Instagram on Wednesday showing a bruised jawline, swollen and bruised eye, and a cut on her lip, prompting many to think the former Disney star had been assaulted, only to realize it was just makeup.

A number of fans have slammed the images, accusing the star of “glamorizing being physically abused.”“I'm not the only one who thinks it's insensitive,” another agreed.One conceded the star may have just been showing off her makeup skills, but agreed that the photo was “triggering.”
