Ramsey explained that filming the penultimate installment was exhausting but enjoyable.
“It was … exhausting, but those were some of my favorite days on set,” Ramsey said. “That sounds really masochistic, but it’s the scenes that break me that I love the most, in a way.” The star was then asked about the series finale, which is set to air this coming Sunday. “It’s going to divide people massively — massively,” Ramsey explained.
“The live-action series takes place 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed,” reads the synopsis. “Joel and Ellie, a pair connected through the harshness of the world they live in, are forced to endure brutal circumstances and ruthless killers on a trek across a post-pandemic America.”
