A man who claimed to be in IRA after he broke into a student flat armed with a knife has been jailed
A man who broke into a flat armed with a knife, claiming to be in the IRA, has been jailed for six months.
Belfast Crown Court heard that on 15 February 2021 Spencer entered a flat rented by students on Wolseley Street.The prosecution told the court that Spencer confronted four students in the hallway and they said at one point the defendant had a knife in his hand, "holding it low".Items stolen during the burglary included a baseball cap, a fleece, car keys, a wallet, jewellery and headphones.
