Glasgow's Shawarma King is one of the most popular eateries in the city - and for a good reason
Think shawarma and anyone living in Glasgow will likely have their minds turn to one place located just seconds from the city centre and a short walk to the Barras.
With its soaring success, Glasgow Live wanted to talk to the people behind the business and sat down with owner, Majed Badrekhan. "I was a bit shaken. It was a very good time for us. We've all been so happy it's an amazing feeling and we are proud of ourselves." Working alongside his family, Majed told us: "This shop is around nine years old and we are all family. Me and my four brothers work in there - and my dad. It's a family business and we all work together every day.
"We came here and stated working together because we all have experience and know how to do the job. And we already had our recipes." He proudly says: "I love my job to be honest and everything that I do. Any place I feel is empty, I join. Cutting the meat, taking the orders, even washing the dishes - anything - I don't mind doing it. I enjoy it all."
