"The move will most likely be near the end of July so I'd like to spend all of June visiting some of my favorite places in Houston," she wrote."However, quite a few Chronicle pieces this year have shown me that I've missed a lot over the past four decades."So she asked me for my top 10 places to visit before leaving the city.
The Museum of Fine Arts, to relive childish memories of running around the museum after hours. In the '70s, my mother worked there in the offices, and I would visit my special favorite paintings. I always felt it was my museum, and still do.
