Breweries show their can-do spirit with new releases two, and more beery events this week.
's Mardi Gras Rumpus returns in all its glory with a barbecue , a crawfish boil a live brass band and the World's Tiniest Mardi Gras Parade at 4 p.m."The World's Tiniest Mardi Gras Parade will consist of other local breweries and distilleries building tiny floats and competing for a donation to their charity of choice. It will also be led by one of the best brass bands out there, Guerrilla Fanfare," Call to Arms says.
Legendary beer expert and author Stan Hieronymus will appear at Aurora's revered home-brew supply store, The Brew Hut, from 1 to 3 p.m. to"discuss a topic vital to home brewers and craft brewers alike: Five Things that Every Brewer Should Know About Hop Flavor and Aroma," according to the store. The event is free to attend, but seating is limited;
