Thousands of pounds of beef products are being recalled due to an import inspection issue.
More than 20,000lbs of beef products have been recalled after not being inspected when imported into the U.S.South American Meat Inc., also known as 5Gogi LLC, an importer based in California, is recalling approximately 20,111lbs of various frozen raw beef products after they were not presented to the U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service for 'import reinspection' when being brought in from Uruguay in South America, said the agency.
