BEDFORD HEIGHTS, Ohio - As Northeast Ohio prepares for the expected snow and cold, a local woman is still trying to get heat!
Tiffany McDonald said she’s been living with no heat for months at her Columbus Park Apartment, also known as Bear Creek Apartments in Bedford Heights.“I plug it up here. I put it here. Then I sit wrapped up in a blanket,” said McDonald. In McDonald’s case, she told 19 Troubleshooter she and her 20-year-old daughter moved here back in May, but did not notice there was no heat until October.“It takes forever for them the honor that requests,” said McDonald.
19 Troubleshooter made a visit to the leasing office, but was not given a name or direct number to a manager. Instead, we were told to call the emergency line.“We deserve to be treated with respect. We deserve to have adequate conditions. The fact you are not adhering to us is unacceptable,” said McDonald.
