Bed Bath & Beyond saw sales decline substantially for the second straight quarter amid continued supply-chain strains
Bed Bath & Beyond Inc.
posted a big sales decline for the quarter that includes part of the holiday season, amidComparable sales, a metric that adjusts for changes to store counts and divestitures, declined 7% for the three months ended Nov. 27, compared with the same period a year earlier. Net sales fell 28% to $1.88 billion, as the company permanently closed some stores and sold noncore units.
