At CES 2026, Beatbot arrived with two announcements and a ‘world’s first’ in automated pool cleaning. The Beatbot AquaSense X, from the company’s flagship innovation line is a future-oriented AI pool-cleaning robotic ecosystem that automates post-clean maintenance through the world’s first self-cleaning pool cleaner station.
Additionally, the Beatbot Sora 70, the first model in the new Beatbot Sora Series, targets “dependable everyday pool care” with water-surface skimming and full-zone coverage at the center of the design.Beatbot AquaSense X: Autonomous pool care and robot maintenanceBeatbot sees the AquaSense X as an “ecosystem,” not a single device: the AquaSense X AI Robotic Pool Cleaner paired with the AstroRinse Cleaning Station. Despite advances in automated pool cleaning, customers still found post-cleaning robot maintenance to be a major pain point, so the company built automation around the part most owners dislike: cleaning the cleaner. The world’s first self-cleaning pool cleaner stationBeatbot describes AstroRinse as “the world’s first fully automatic filter-cleaning system for robotic pool cleaners.” The workflow is simple: after a cycle, the owner places the robot onto the station; the station then rinses the internal filter, empties the debris tank, and recharges the robot. The station uses a high-pressure rotating backflush and completes the filter-clean process in about three minutes, returning the unit to “ready” without manual rinsing. Capacity is the other constraint for automated operation. Astrorinse has a 22-liter capacity for the station’s debris handling and can support up to two cleaning cycles per week for as long as two months without needing to empty or replace the disposable dust bag.HybridSense AI Vision: broader recognition, more adaptive coverageAquaSense X leans on “Beatbot AI 2.0” and HybridSense AI Vision. HybridSense doubles recognized debris types from 20 to 40 and expands detection from the pool floor to both the floor and the water surface by combining camera imaging with infrared and ultrasonic sensing, giving more accurate identification, more targeted pattern changes, and better coverage across the floor, walls, waterline, and water surface.Navigation is tuned for pools that are not uniform basins. Dual ultrasonic sensors identify steps, edges, and shallow platforms, enabling more consistent cleaning across tanning ledges and shallow zones. This is also “multi-platform adaptive” cleaning, aimed at multi-level pool layouts where path planning and feature detection determine whether shallow shelves get cleaned or ignored.All-in-one cleaning, water clarification, and voice controlAquaSense X is an all-in-one cleaner across major surfaces, including walls, floors, waterlines, and water surface cleaning. It also includes automatic water clarification through ClearWater Clarification, which Beatbot describes as removing unwanted particles to keep water “crystal-clear and eco-friendly.”For control, Beatbot highlights hands-free voice integration when the robot is outside the pool or floating on the surface, with support for Google Home, Alexa, and Siri. Voice commands can start cycles, check battery status, enable a child lock, and deliver alerts when cleaning is finished.CES 2026 Innovation Awards recognitionThe AquaSense X ecosystem has been named a CES 2026 Innovation Awards Honoree in the home appliances category. In the CES listing, the system is framed around two linked automations: AI-enabled cleaning in the pool and automatic emptying/rinsing while the robot recharges on AstroRinse.AquaSense X early-bird access and pre-sale detailsAquaSense X will be available with an MSRP of $4,250 starting January 5, 2026, and the first 500 customers can join a limited preorder program with a $250 deposit to secure time-limited benefits. An extended warranty totaling four years and additional perks, including a one-year pool care kit and a limited-edition “Founder Edition” AstroRinse station, along with other priority and shipping-related benefits at their official website Beatbot.com.Beatbot Sora 70: Total coverage, including water-surface cleaningIf AquaSense X is built to minimize maintenance labor, Sora 70 is built to maximize everyday coverage without complexity. Beatbot positions Sora 70 as “the best robotic pool cleaner with water-surface cleaning for total pool coverage,” and is the first model in the value-focused Sora Series. Beatbot CEO Siler Wang describes it as designed for “serious performance with zero fuss,” including the water surface and shallow ledges that many robots struggle to handle.JetPulse skimming, platform cleaning, and high suctionSora 70 introduces JetPulse Water Surface Cleaning, which Beatbot describes as a dual-flow jet system using converging and outward-extending jets to guide floating debris toward the suction inlet—aimed at removing insects, pollen, and surface debris before it sinks. For full-pool coverage, Sora 70 can clean shallow platforms and ledges as low as eight inches. It also cites 6,800 GPH suction power through a HydroBalance structure designed to keep weight distribution even and motion agile across pool zones.Retrieval and runtimeBeatbot’s Smart Surface Parking is designed to make pickup predictable: the robot rises to the surface when cleaning is complete, and SmartDrain releases remaining internal water to reduce lift weight. Power comes from a 10,000 mAh battery, which Beatbot says delivers up to five hours of floor cleaning or seven hours of water-surface cleaning, targeting pools up to 3,230 square feet per charge. For debris handling, Beatbot highlights an ultra-large six-liter debris capacity with fine filtration, and its CES release describes an optional three-micron ultra-fine filter for tighter particle capture.Sora 70 will be available in Spring 2026 on Beatbot.com and Amazon.com, with pricing to be announced.Learn more about AquaSense X here.
