According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Bears are hiring Detroit offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, the No. 1 candidate on many head coaching wish lists. The Associated Press also confirmed Johnson’s hire.Johnson was one of the 10 candidates who interviewed with the Jaguars since they fired Doug Pederson on Jan. 6.Johnson had been one of the top head coaching candidates the last three head coaching cycles, including when the Jaguars ultimately hired Pederson.
