Police found a disabled Cadillac SUV that had been driving east in the westbound lanes of Shaker Boulevard at 4:45 a.m. Jan. 18. The driver, a Rochester, NY, man, 63, then left the roadway and struck a stop sign at Brainard Road. Police learned that the landlord was trying to install a security system while the tenant was still living there and advised both parties that it was an issue to be pursued in civil court rather than as a criminal case.Police stopped a Newbury woman, 40, initially for driving with only one working headlight at 8 p.m. Jan. 22.
