BBC WEATHER has forecast strong sunshine with highs of 25C by Friday for social distancing VE celebrations but conditions will quickly change on the Bank Holiday weekend.
Weather's Matt Taylor said the springtime conditions will be out in full force this week as Britons are set to bask in a mini-heatwave before freezing Arctic winds send the country back into wintry weather, with". After a peak of 25C in London on Friday, Scotland will see snow showers on Sunday. Mr Taylor said:"It is the season of spring and a season where we would see some drastic turnaround weather conditions and that's certainly the case this week and weekend.
