Fresh off of his NTA win, Bobby Brazier talks all things dance and being the favourite to take home the Glitterball as he prepares to make his debut on Strictly Come Dancing
Twenty-year-old actor Bobby Brazier has managed to scoop a National Television Award for Rising Star, just one year after his EastEnders debut where he plays Freddie Slater. He follows in the footsteps of Coronation Street actor, Paddy Bever, who plays Max Turner, and won the Rising Star award last year.
“I’m taking a break,” he reveals. “I’ve filmed it already, and no I’m not telling you about it. But I’ll be back.” As for what he’s most looking forward to during the competition, dancing didn’t even come into the equation. “I’m looking forward to the journey that I’m going to go on with my partner – and my friends now,” he says with a smile. “It’s going to be so beautiful. They’re going to see me at my best and my worst, and it’s a really sweet thing.”
