Lucy Owen revealed that she won't have vision for the next few months
The BBC newsreader took to social media on Friday to confirm that a procedure to save her eyesight has been successful. However, she still has months of recover ahead - and won't be able to see in this time.
As reported by the Mirror, the 52 year-old tweeted: "Thanks so much for your lovely messages, so kind of you. Having to lie on my side for a week and won’t get my vision back for a few months - tricky for autocue! Top Trending Stories Today The presenter is now wearing an eye patch and on bed rest after the life-changing procedure. Had it not been spotted during an eye check-up, Lucy could have been left permanently blind in her right eye.
