The remark came during a pitch-side interview midway through Brown's first match for Southern Brave, her new team in England's The Hundred cricket competition.When Brown appeared uncomfortable following the comment, Hughes pointed out she was "blushing". BBC News reported a spokesperson for the corporation as saying: "We have spoken to Chris and explained that his comment was not appropriate."Brown, 26, from Taree in New South Wales, played for Australia A earlier this year and has received call-ups to the full Australia squad. She is yet to make her full international debut.
Hughes has been a serial reality TV star, appearing as a contestant on Love Island in 2017 and Hunted in 2018, and has also worked as a horse racing presenter.
