Antiques Roadshow expert Adam Schoon was left stunned as a guest brought in a large stone head that she had found in a drain whilst digging it up - and it was worth a fortune
An Antiques Roadshow guest was left completely gobsmacked after discovering the stone head she unearthed in a drain could fetch up to £5,000.
Adam shared his insights on the artefact, noting its "very reminiscent of a Celtic style" and explained that it could date back over 2,000 years to the third century AD, possibly linked to similar finds near Hadrian's Wall. Fiona Bruce remembered the man's shock when he was told: "I'm afraid it's an empty olive oil bottle. Tesco, circa 2008. It's worth nothing at all."
