Big rig with 'over-sized load' slams into a Bay Area toll plaza booth, leading to lane closures and repairs.

The California Highway Patrol said a big rig with steel girders hit the structure. "The load was over-sized for the lane," Public Information Officer Mark Andrews told KTVU.There were no reports of injuries.

Fortunately, the booth was not occupied due to the switch to the electronic toll collection system at the bridge. There was reportedly another accident involving a separate vehicle that hit debris from the big rig crash.The crash happened right next to toll booth 14, where aRepairs were underway at the Bay Bridge toll plaza, after a big rig crash on Sunday night.
