It was a slow start to the week on the Bay Area's funding front.
Just two local startups had new funding deals Monday, both of them seed rounds. Here are the details on those deals, along with news of a Bay Area special purpose acquisition company that announced a tentative merger agreement last week:San Jose, $5.3 million: Redpoint Ventures led the seed round for this provider of blockchain security software.
