A Bay Area restaurant famous for oysters was recently named one of the 35 best seafood shacks in America by an online publication called 24/7 Wall St., as first reported by Sonoma Magazine. The Marshall Store, a seafood shack on Highway 1 near the town of Marshall, Calif., is a family-run hot spot for oysters — fresh, grilled, smoked and served with local cheese. Aside from the food, the restaurant is known for its waterfront views along the Tomales Bay.
While The Marshall Store is likely thankful for the recognition from any media outlet, there’s a gap between the New York Times and 24/7 Wall St., which has headquarters in Connecticut and seems to publish stories on a wide range of topics, from “5 Little-Known Perks to Shopping at Walmart” to “The 42 Most Popular Fighter Jets Used in Today’s Air Forces.
