They emphasized that they have no indication of planned violence or criminal activity at any of the events and will maintain a vigilant presence, adjusting their response as needed.While Trump’s victory is expected to be celebrated by Republicans, individuals with left-leaning political affiliations are planning marches to express opposition to his policies. Multiple marches are scheduled across the Bay Area, including San Francisco, Pacifica, and San Jose. Organizers in San Francisco have partnered with Día de Resistencia in The Mission, planning a march from 24th Street and Bryant Street to Dolores Park. Additional marches and rallies are expected in Alameda and Pacifica, with organizers encouraging participants to carpool or utilize drop-off services due to limited parking availability.The ANSWER coalition, which advocates for peace and racial equality, is organizing a nationwide protest encompassing at least 80 cities in response to Trump’s inauguration. In San Francisco, over 60 organizations representing various sectors, including immigrants, unions, and community groups, are participating in a mass demonstration at City Hall
