Vehicles with the Brentwood Police Department take part in Operation Spring Cleaning, a multi-agency effort to catch child sexual abuse predators.Bay Area police, in concert with the FBI and the U.S. Secret Service, announced seven arrests in an undercover operation to find child sexual abuse predators on Friday.
Operation Spring Cleaning was a weekslong effort led by the Brentwood Police Department that involved operatives going undercover to chat with adults seeking minors in May and June. Fourteen different agencies were involved in the operation, including the FBI, Homeland Security, the Secret Service and multiple East Bay law enforcement agencies. The agencies worked together under the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Program.
