The big game this week is the one Lefkow has talked about for weeks: De La Salle at San Ramon Valley.Will De La Salle lose to a North Coast Section team for the first time since Pittsburg beat the Spartans in 1991? “The loss of Pau Mendoza really worries me if I’m San Ramon,” Lefkow said. “I think this kid is a very underrated player. You look at his numbers and they don’t jump off the page at you. He doesn’t have 20 colleges coming after him. But he’s just one of those players that is very important to his team.”
