Menlo School baseball player Colin Dhaliwal is the Bay Area News Group’s boys high school athlete of the week for April 18-24 after he received 10,826 votes by the 5 p.m. deadline Wednesday.Berkeley baseball player Darrell Mays was third.
Dhaliwal, a junior, struck out 15, walked one and allowed one earned run over six innings as Menlo defeated Harker 8-1 in Peninsula Athletic League Ocean Division play.To nominate an athlete for next week’s honor, emailby coaches/team statisticians for consideration.
