Batman is becoming a beast.

But for as scary as Batman is, he's still just a man. However, all of that is about to change in DC's next upcoming event, that will see the Batman turn into far more beast than man.

This storyline is going to be a massive crossover revolving around Beast Boy that promises to change heroes in some terrifying new ways. After Gotham City is infected by Beast Boy's spores, several heroes are changed into terrifying animal forms. Readers are able to see Harley Quinn as a bunny, Jason Todd as a wolf, and Batman himself as a wolf as well.
Batman Is Transformed Into A Beast Beast Boy is one of the more versatile heroes in comics with the ability to take the form of any animal, including both mythical and alien animals. This grants Beast Boy an absurd level of variety in what he can do. He can sneak into places as the smallest mouse, soar through the sky as an eagle, or transform into a gorilla for massive strength. In some stories he's even been able to transform into a dragon.
When the only thing that can stop the Necrostar is Starro, Beast Boy has no choice but to transform into his own version of Starro. Typically, Starro uses smaller versions of himself to control people's minds, and it seems that Beast Boy retains this ability as well, but instead of mind control, it transforms people into animal forms. This is likely why Batman transforms into his horrifying beast form.
Amanda Waller Restrains A Wolf Batman Batman has been through a lot in the past few months, from fighting a rogue android, to being stranded in the multiverse, to now fighting his own family. He's had more than enough to contend with, and being turned into a wolf is not going to help. It seems that Beast World is going to be another major event that Batman will have to try and get through before his life can stabilize.
