Batman and Robin made it just in time to stop Killer Whale and Orca from kidnapping Dr. Kafira and tried to save him. Unfortunately, a shadowy figure was watching the event and shot Batman with a gas pellet, releasing a poison that Batman breathed in. Before Bruce can figure out what he's been hit with, he and Damian are enveloped by a swarm of bats.
