Jimbo Hart, bassist in The 400 Unit, gave fans the word in a Sunday morning Tweet: “Hey y’all, you won’t see me for the first week of this next tour. I’m taking some time to take care of my mental health and resolve some old-school traumas,” he wrote.
A member of acclaimed Alabama singer-songwriter Jason Isbell’s band is taking a break, thanking Isbell for “the grace and space” to deal with some “old-school traumas.”
Hart, who’s from Muscle Shoals, said in a follow-up tweet that he’s “super stoked to return to y’all as my true self. I can’t wait to rock out with y’all again!!!”
