James had an excellent performance on national television in a very competitive McDonald’s All-American Game setting very recently. His overall IQ, potential as a shot maker and as a creator, plus his ability and willingness to defend are very intriguing. Combine these traits with his pedigree and athleticism and you’ve got the potential for a very solid player down the line. He’s grown in his game, and that needs to be reflected in the rankings.
Green doesn’t jump off of the page at you from a visual aspect. He’s a smaller guard and doesn’t make many athletic, highlight plays as a lot of prospects, but he definitely produces. He is very arguably the best shooter in all of the senior class and has shot it at a very high clip for years now. Production needs to be awarded and Green is a player that just produces. He’s showcased the most valuable skill in today’s basketball at a high rate and will have a good college career.
