A basketball game between French team Nanterre and Israeli side Hapoel Holon was interrupted when activists carrying Palestinian flags entered the court. Israeli fans then attacked the activists in the stands. This incident follows similar violence by Israeli football fans in Amsterdam last month who vandalized property, tore down Palestinian flags, and chanted anti-Arab slogans.

The Administrative Court of Cergy-Pontoise had earlier annulled a decision by the Nanterre Municipality to hold the match without spectators.
