Caden Dana twirled six impressive innings in his MLB Debut with the Angels.

On Sunday, Sept. 1, the 20-year-old right-handed pitcher was jettisoned into a reality that most kids across the world can only dream of: To play in Major League Baseball .

The former Don Bosco Prep All-Star packed up his belongings in Alabama and made his MLB debut with the Los Angeles Angels in a rubber match against the Seattle Mariners, and did so with authority. Dana’s four-seam fastball reached 95 miles per hour, including one he dialed up for his first career strikeout against a slugger.Half of his punch-outs came from a surprising cutter, including one to end the top of the fifth inning with two runners aboard.

Visibly, Angels manager Ron Washington was a happy camper. Washington greeted Dana at the top of the dugout following his sixth inning with a pair of clapping hands and an approving facial expression.
