Robson's men secured European action in the Conference League but fell to defeat against managerless Hibs.
Barry Robson has insisted his new recruits will show they can cope with the demands of being an Aberdeen player.
Robson stated: “We have a break and a chance to work with the players. A lot of the signings we have taken in are probably between 60 and 90 percent of what we want in terms of fitness and are still getting up to speed. Probably half the group have had a full pre-season, which is good, but the other ones need to try and catch up. They are willing. We have created a very good group, with a good mentality, good work rate and who can play with the demands that come with playing for Aberdeen.
Finnish international Jensen is experienced and should be a calming influence and Gartenmann offers another option, while Rhys Williams looks to be well out of the picture. James McGarry has come in on the left-hand side of the defence and he looks a decent find. He offers a good balance, likes to get forward and puts in inviting deliveries.
