An anonymous post from a Barry crew member reveals that director-star Bill Hader is one of the best-prepared and kindest in the business.
A Barry crew member has shared their overwhelmingly positive experience working with Bill Hader as a director. Hader is the star of the series, which premiered on HBO in 2018 and follows an ex-hit man who attempts to put his murderous ways behind him and become a Hollywood star. In addition to starring in every episode, Hader directed 18 episodes of the series, including the entirety of the eight-episode season 4, which just concluded the series this May.

According to them, Hader was always well-prepared, maintained short production days, and developed a personal relationship with everyone on set.
