The CROP Hunger Walk steps off in Barrington Oct. 15
With fall settling in, the Barrington Village Board did a look-ahead at its meeting last month with approving the village’s Fourth of July fireworks vendor. At the Sept. 25 meeting, trustees approved and authorized the execution of an agreement with Mad Bomber Fireworks Productions of LaPorte, Indiana, for a village fireworks show to be held July 2, 2024.

Last year, the CROP Hunger Walk ranked No. 40 nationally in funds raised, officials explained. “It’s always a wonderful community event,” Darch said.
