The Lucid Air is the longest-range electric vehicle on sale in the United States, with up to 512 miles on a full charge. It's also very expensive; the 2025 Air Grand Touring costs over $120,000. But depreciation hit hard on one- and two-year-old Lucid Airs. It’s a rough time to be a Lucid Air owner who wants to sell their $100,000+ EV on the used market.
Want one with fewer miles? How about a 5,000-mile 2022 Air Grand Touring that retailed for $141,000 when new? Again, it’s the one with the big battery that enables a range of over 450 miles , adaptive air suspension, dual motors and a fancy interior. It sold in July for $61,111. That’s nearly $80,000 less than the original price or, as someone in the comments section of the BaT listing put it, $16 of depreciation per mile.
