Spanish giants Barcelona have reportedly told Frenkie de Jong to leave the club and join Manchester United.
It is claimed president Joan Laporta and his staff are attempting to convince De Jong that a switch to the Red Devils would benefit his career and that their decision to sell him is related to their financial situation. United are believed to have struck an agreement with Barcelona, said to be worth €75 million excluding add-ons, for the midfielder's services.
