Having already secured Germany international Ilkay Gundogan's services on a free deal following the expiration of his contract at Manchester City, the Catalan giants appear to have made yet another breakthrough.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the LaLiga champions have struck an agreement to sign 18-year-old Athletico Paranaense forward Vitor Roque. The forward has impressed since bursting on to the scene in Brazil’s Serie A, having scored an impressive 22 goals and assisting a further eight strikes in 65 senior appearances.
It is claimed that Roque, as things stand, will join Barcelona in January, but his arrival date could potentially be brought forward should the club be able to sell players in time to register him for the start of the coming season. The talented attacker has already made his debut for the Selecao's senior side, after finding the back of the net six times in 11 games for his country's U20 team.

Botswana, De Beers Agree to Extend Diamond Deal Sales AgreementAfter signing a 10-year extension to their diamond sales deal, Botswana and the international diamond consortium De Beers, based in London, have put an end to uncertainty surrounding their long-standing partnership. In a joint statement issued late on June 30, Botswana and De Beers said the mining license will remain in effect for another 25 years while their sales agreement had been extended until 2034. Neither a price nor more information on the distribution of natural stones were provided, but according to the government and De Beers, the new agreement "reflects the aspirations of the people of Botswana". This comes after President Mokgweetsi Masisi challenged a 54-year alliance with the largest diamond producer in the world, De Beers, stating his nation would not relent in its quest for a better agreement. The previous agreement, which just expired, provided that De Beers would get the remaining 75% of the rough diamonds produced in Botswana as part of their partnership. In the renewed agreement, Botswana negotiated for a larger share of the revenues.
