As a newbie snowbirder in southern Arizona, I have discovered an amazing phenomenon: life without traffic.
Traffic entering the Kennedy Expressway backs up between Fullerton and North avenues as the reversible lanes close March 12, 2024, for the second phase of construction on the expressway. No Chicagoan wants to hear from a snowbirder. Although the prospect might be a little less distasteful this winter, when many days the temperature in Chicago was the same as in Arizona.
