DAVAO CITY -- Simula nitong Sabado ng hapon isinailalim sa 14 na araw na lockdown ang Barangay 23-C sa lungsod na ito, matapos tumaas ang kaso ng COVID-19.Ang ibang mga negosyante ay maagang nagsara ng kanilang tindahan at maaga rin umuwi sa kanilang bahay.
Nabanggit na ni Mayor Sara Duterte noong Biyernes ng hapon pa lang sa isang lokal na government radio program na posibleng magsagawa ng lockdown dahil sa mataas na bilang ng nagkakasakit sa barangay.Sa kabuuan, may 88 residente sa 23-C ang nagpositibo ng COVID-19. Dalawa rito ang naitalang namatay. Lima naman ang na-discharge nitong Biyernes sa isolation facility ng Southern Philippines Medical Center. -- Bonna Pamplona, ABS-CBN News
