Obama praised Biden's ability to connect with American families, saying, "When Joe talks with parents who've lost their jobs, we hear the son of a man who once knew the pain of telling his children that he'd lost his. When Joe talks about opportunity for our kids, we hear the young father who took the train home each night so he could tuck his children into bed."
Obama didn't mention Trump directly once in the lengthy video, but the current president was indirectly present when Obama brought up Biden's political record, mentioning the role Biden played in "prevent[ing] the ebola epidemic from becoming the kind of pandemic we're seeing now.
