Bar urges govt to raise judges’ retirement age to 70
The Malaysian Bar has urged the government to make constitutional amendments to enable the retirement ages of judges to be raised from 65 to 70. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, January 9, 2023.
“The Malaysian Bar urges the government to make constitutional amendments to give effect to this important reform,” Cheah said in her speech at the opening of the Legal Year 2023 in Putrajaya today.
