Bank Rakyat offers women, SMEs special financing schemes

Bank Rakyat is providing a micro financing scheme that offers up to RM50,000 per applicant with a 69-month installment period, as well as a nine-month grace period. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, May 12, 2020.

BANK Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Bhd is taking proactive steps to help individuals and businesses affected by the Covid-19 pandemic by offering a variety of financial assistance. In a statement today, Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said this includes a special financing scheme to assist SMEs and cooperatives, which can apply for financing of up to RM300,000 each.
