Many will close but some will be changing their hours
Many shops and supermarkets will be closed on Monday, September 19, for a Bank Holiday to mark the Queen's funerals. The majority of retailers have already said they will close, including the likes of John Lewis and Primark, so staff can watch the funeral, due to start at 11am.
Tesco The big Tesco supermarkets will be closed all day on Monday and smaller Express stores will shut until 5pm.Morrisons Morrisons will close all its stores as a mark of respect. Aldi All Aldi stores will be closed on Monday, September 19 to allow store colleagues to ‘pay tribute’ to Her Majesty The Queen.
