Mountain Rescue teams were among multi-agency responses scrambled to scenes around the country over the last few days.
Mountain Rescue crews were called out to several major incidents across Scotland over the bank holiday weekend. Multi-agency responses were scrambled to scenic beauty spots after hill walkers got into trouble at the scenic locations.
A statement from Eyemouth Coastguard read: "Eyemouth Coastguard along with Berwick Coastguard rescue team were tasked on Sunday to locate a person who had fallen on the rocks and sustained injuries. Teams quickly arrived on scene and located the casualty on the Killiedraught bay and provided casualty care.
Meanwhile a dad and son were airlifted to hospital after sustaining injuries in a horror fall down a hill by Loch Lomond. It is understood the child slipped on Conic Hill, near Balmaha, during their descent and in panic, his dad broke his ankle trying to save his son. Top news stories today A coastguard statement read: "The HM Coastguard helicopter from Prestwick was sent to rescue a man and a boy with injuries from a fall at Conic Hill, near Balmaha, on Sunday 7th May.
