A Bangladeshi man who lost a young son during recent protests has filed a case against the former prime minister and eight members of her cabinet at the International Crimes Tribunal at Dhaka.

The case was filed at the local International Crimes Tribunal in the capital Dhaka, Ataur Rahman, a deputy director of the investigation agency of the court, told the media on Wednesday.
