Baru-baru ini, China sudah menamatkan tempoh perintah berkurung disebabkan bilangan kes positif Covid-19 di negara itu semakin menurun.

Pelajar berusia 22 tahun dikenali sebagai Han itu disyaki menjadi punca kepada kes jangkitan yang dilaporkan di Harbin. Virus tersebut kemudian disyaki menjangkiti Chen yang merupakan pesakit strok yang sedang dirawat di hospital. Setakat Ahad lalu, 60 kes diterima di Harbin di mana 21 daripadanya adalah “silent carrier” ataupun mereka yang tidak menunjukkan sebarang simptom.

Dia tiba di kampung halamannya di Harbin pada 19 Mac setelah terbang dari New York sehari sebelumnya dengan singgah di Hong Kong dan Beijing.
